B&B Terre dì Montecoco

This was a great value-for-money stay and perfectly suited my needs while attending a wedding at Castello Monaci, which was only about a 10-minute drive away. For anyone attending an event there, the location is excellent. The local supermarket is also fairly well stocked and very conveniently located. Communication before arrival was fantastic. My flight was significantly delayed and I arrived much later than expected, but the owner was extremely responsive, understanding, and accommodating throughout the process. Although the owner was away during my stay, her mother welcomed me warmly on arrival and made me feel very comfortable despite the language barrier. The property has a genuine family-run feel, and everyone was incredibly kind and hospitable. The grounds are beautiful, with lovely views of the surrounding countryside, and the breakfast each morning was thoughtfully prepared. Overall, this was a simple, comfortable, and very affordable stay with hosts who clearly care about their guests.

Future guests should be aware that some rooms require climbing two flights of stairs, which may be challenging for travellers with heavy luggage or mobility concerns. The rooms are quite basic and traditional in style, with minimal furnishings and amenities. This was exactly what I expected for the price and was perfectly adequate for my short stay, but travellers looking for a more modern or luxurious experience may wish to keep this in mind. I was also unable to get the air conditioning working in my room. Fortunately, the weather was mild enough that I didn't need it, so I didn't contact the owners for assistance. Given how responsive they were throughout my stay, I'm sure they would have helped if needed.

Se cercate un posto dove location e persone fanno la differenza, è questo. La struttura è bellissima e tenuta benissimo, ma il vero valore aggiunto sono i proprietari: genuini, discreti e di una gentilezza rara oggi. Ti fanno sentire ospite, non cliente. Esperienza talmente positiva che ho già confermato il prossimo soggiorno. Grazie di tutto, a presto.
