Chez papa

The room was very comfortable and central to walk around Ravenna.

Because the hotel is central, the window to our room overlooked a restaurant, which can be noisy at night. The breakfast was also just "okay", nothing special. But I guess that's reflected in the price.

Chez Papa was one of the highlights of our journey through Italy. The beautifully restored historic building combines authentic character with modern comfort, while the charming inner courtyard creates a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. What made our stay truly special was the exceptional hospitality. The lady who welcomed us was incredibly kind and helpful, offering assistance with our luggage after a long journey and welcoming Oscar with such warmth and affection as if he were her own dog. It was one of the most heartfelt welcomes we received during our travels. One detail that pleasantly surprised me was the quality of the internet connection. The Wi-Fi was fast, stable and reliable throughout our stay, something that is surprisingly rare even in many hotels. The room also offered a comfortable desk/workspace, allowing guests to work with ease either from their room or from the outdoor areas. This made the stay particularly convenient for anyone working remotely while travelling. We would also like to thank the team for arranging the parking directly opposite the property. The gentleman managing the parking area was professional, friendly and extremely helpful. His warm attitude and genuine kindness towards both us and Oscar made a lasting impression. Comfortable, beautiful, welcoming and genuinely pet-friendly. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Friendly attentive staff. Quaint old world style decor with a modern flair. The courtyard was lovely with French doors opening on it from our room. The continental breakfast was exceptional with homemade pastries and great coffee. The location was perfect for exploring, shopping and dining.

The bed was comfortable but a little on the ferm side for my liking and pillows a bit flat but this is more a question of personal preference.
