Központi helyen van. A reggeli hagyományos szicíliai. A szoba nagy, vízforralóval ellátva. Az ágyak memóriahabos félkemények három párnával.

A hálószoba levegőtlen, sajnos nincs ablak, csak egy zárt helységre. Így természetes fény is kevés volt, de ezek mellett is szuper volt a szálló, főleg a nappali és a fürdő része.

Abbiamo soggiornato al Massimo 36 per due notti, in occasione del ponte del 2 giugno. Grazie alla posizione centralissima, direttamente dietro il Teatro Massimo, abbiamo potuto girare tranquillamente per la città senza preoccuparci della distanza dei principali punti di interesse ed attrazioni storiche. Le camere sono eleganti, spaziose e pulitissime. La Signora Valeria infine è stata gentilissima e sempre disponibile a venirci incontro su ogni richiesta. Si tratta di un posto che consiglierei e in cui tornerei.

El pis, l'habitació, el bany, tot està posat amb un gust exquisit i molt confortable.

L'ascensor té delicta. Al sortir al replà, hi ha un graó que no es veu i és per caure i trencar-se coll i barres. La mestressa no ho té contemplat ni senyalitzat.

Beautiful classic and elegant apartment. Beautifully furnished. Excellent location to walk to the markets and old historical sites. Beautiful sumptuous breakfast and there will only be a few other guests at most. Valeria was gracious and helpful and made out stay a highlight.

Nothing - it was faultless for us.

When the taxi driver stopped in front of the building, we were a bit shocked. It didn't look like a very safe neighborhood. It was our first visit to Palermo. We opened the door and saw what looked like a construction site and an old metal elevator. To be honest, we were scared! We spent an hour trying to find other accommodations without success. Then a very nice Iady asked if we needed help. We spoke only minimal Italian, and she spoke only a little English but, she willingly checked sites and asked friends and finally gave us a thumbs up for Al Massimo. She showed us how to get in touch with the B & B hostess, who came down and helped us navigate the Victorian era elevator. Our room was very nice. The bed was comfortable. The in the hall bathroom was very nice. When I booked this room, I just didn't realize the bathroom was not in the bedroom. We had to exit our room and go out in the hall to the bathroom. But it wasn't a big issue. The common rooms were beautifully furnished and very comfortable. We had to wait a little past our requested breakfast time of 9 AM because the hostess had car trouble. It wasn't a very long wait and when she arrived, she set out a very nice breakfast. After our tour started, one to the places we visited was the theatre that is right across the street from Al Massimo! I guess it wasn't a bad neighborhood after all.

The exterior of the building was kind of scary! The door was in need of some paint and the foyer looked very rough, definitely like a construction site. I understand now that there are major renovations going on. I think this should have been noted either on the website or put a large note somewhere in the foyer so that guests are not too scared to enter. Also, the website said the rooms were air conditioned. We could not find a thermostat nor was there a window that we could open. Thankfully, it wasn't too hot outside, and I had personal fans that gave us some relief.
