B&B Ambitious

The location was great and the vibe of the building, room and a charming small terrace with flowers.

The bathroom was not clean, especially a clogged and dirty fan. The shower and hairdryer were broken. I think it’s necessary to take care of this.

The b&b is located in the best part of Catania, close to Corso Italia and Tribunale. Very comfortable stay and the host is very responsive, thanks a lot!

I stayed at this hotel for five nights in two different rooms. The hotel has a great location, with three supermarkets nearby and the city center just a 15-minute walk away. Both rooms had a silent refrigerator and a fully equipped kitchen with a cooking stove and microwave. Since I needed to work during my stay, I requested to move to a bigger room, which was accommodated with an extra charge. The single room was good for one night. The double room with a balcony was wonderful. It made me feel like a "King in the castle" (c) Borat. Jokes aside, the design of the room was the best I've experienced in Italy, simple yet quintessentially Sicilian.

I would give this hotel 10 stars, but I have to be honest. The single room 6/10. It has small windows which barely get any daylight in. The shower cabin is only suitable for smaller individuals. At my height of 186 cm, it was impossible to shower comfortably standing up. Also, the bathroom fan was as noisy as an old Boeing 737 The double room also had an issue with the bathroom being too narrow. If you're a good-sized man, you'd definitely feel uncomfortable. Also, keep in mind the room has around a 4-meter high ceiling, which makes it hard to warm up in winter. The Wi-Fi wasn't stable. It was sometimes good for video calls, in another time the internet would drop for 1-2 minutes. The uploading speed was low

Good location, friendly and ready-to-help host, spacious and well-equipped room and common area. We have really enjoyed our stay!

The property is perfect for groups, it has big rooms and it is located near center and central station.

In the night it was a little bit noisy but if the window is closed everything is fine.

I appreciated the availability of the host Mirko ready to help you in any problem related to the stay in Catania. We had the plane very early and the possibility to check - out starting at 4 am o'clock was very much appreciated by us.   The room exceeded our expectations, spacious and beautifully decorated. Thank you for the pleasant stay in Catania!
