Das Zimmer konnte vom Eingangsflur aus betreten werden und hatte ca. 30 Quadratmeter Grundfläche. Es war fensterlos. In der Eingangstür befand sich eine Milchglasscheibe. Jede Erleuchtung des Treppenhauses warf in der Nacht einen Lichtschein in unser Zimmer. Der Toiletten- und Duschraum befand sich neben der Eingangstür außerhalb unseres Zimmers, für uns gedacht, aber von allen Bewohnern des Hauses zugänglich. Die Tür dieses Raumes konnten wir weder von innen noch von außen verriegeln. Etwa ab 6:30 Uhr entfernten Bauarbeiter ein Baugerüst mit ziemlichem Lärm. Die Vermieterin hat uns über diese Maßnahme nicht in Kenntnis gesetzt.

We never got into the property. We abandoned our paid stay due to very poor communication and parking issues

The property advertised it had free public parking on site. There was no mention of no car access into the area. I tried several times before the arrival date to contact the host to confirm arrival time, parking and query about the ZTL ( limited car access zone). I received NO response. On the day we had no choice but to head toward the property. This DID take us into the ZTL and we had to turn round. I understand we will be heftily fined for this. I continued to call the property but no reply. Eventually the host called me back. She spoke no English and insisted in speaking in rapid italian despite me asking her to speak simply and slowly. I managed to decipher that the property was indeed in the ZTL, that there was no parklng at the property, apart from street parking ‘nearby’ which would be free if we could find a (rare) white spot or a paying blue spot. The description of their facilities is deeply misleading. We booked this location because we understood it had parking so transfer of our luggage would be easy. Walking any distance with international luggage is not practical for us. Neither did we want to risk unsecured parking. We are deeply unhappy. We have wasted money. A birthday treat to Monopoli became a nightmare. We decided to go elsewhere. I did open an email from the property that evening when I went on line, explaining the same things i had deciphered during the day but during the day which I could not access. eEvery other property we visited understands you are on the road and uses the practical What’s App or text for communication. Reading the reviews I can see we were not the only ones to experience parking and communication issues.

The location was great, the staff were very friendly and generous, and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast at a nearby café.

No tiene luz natural y el baño privado esta fuera de la habitación.

Jolie chambre, et bien située.

Un peu bruyant, et dommage qu'il faille sortir dans le hall de l'immeuble pour aller dans la salle de bain.

Posizione strategica

La camera si trova in un seminterrato (cantina) che è risultato freddo e umido, al punto che persino la carta igienica era bagnata. Nonostante il freddo, l'aria in tutto l'ambiente era incredibilmente pesante e viziata. Inoltre, la stanza e il bagno sono completamente bui e privi di finestre. La camera è talmente poco insonorizzata che di notte si sente qualsiasi tipo di rumore proveniente dall'esterno. La pulizia lascia molto a desiderare: abbiamo trovato ben quattro scarafaggi in camera. Il bagno si trova fuori nel corridoio e non ha una chiave per essere chiuso dall'interno. Il portone d'ingresso del condominio è proprio accanto al bagno.

Ho adorato la cordialità e la disponibilità di Virginia! Ma anche la pulizia della camera!

La ubicación era excelente y la habitación espaciosa, limpia y bonita.

El baño queda afuera de la habitación pero eso ya lo sabíamos cuando hicimos la reserva.
