Ulivo Rosso

This is a great location amidst the hills and abandoned olive plantations. Safe, clean, and quiet. Fantastic for nature lovers: woods, small creeks, and waterfalls. The only limitation - you have to get there by car. Going to Florence: a 10-11 min car ride to the railway station (free safe parking space available two steps away from the station) and a 10-12 minutes train ride (1,6 euro one way) - and you are in the very heart of Florence - Santa Maria Novella. Mari Rosa is a gem of the house - she is a fantastic host, among the best I met through 40 years of travel.

WiFi might be problematic but the host may allow you to take the router to your room.

Location is great and host is really nice and helpful person, who advised wisely.

During our family stay there were several young people partying long in the night and was complicated to fall asleep. Some restrictions for noise deep at night should be placed.

Our stay was wonderful. The lady was kind and ready to help in every way. Every morning she brought us breakfast in the room and we woke up to the chirping of birds. The cleanliness was at its peak. We definitely recommend the stay.

Room was very nice and tidy with antique details and beautiful mountain views. Very confortable bed and lovely big room. Lovely owner brought us a coffee in the morning in our room ....Kindness pure !

Terrible noise in the morning , people chatting and kids shouting. We arrived late at night, due to flight delay and wanted to sleep a bit longer, but despite asking for late check out, we got waken up by other guests and staff chatting. Very bad insolated room area from reception area.

Atmosphere is very warm and Italian
