The B&B Palazzo Tornabene is located about 50m from the city’s center (Piazza del Universita). There are several restaurants in the street directly next to the house. The rooms have double windows to shield from the noise of the restaurants. Ours was quite large, with a small balcony with sun in the afternoon. The furniture is functional and the bed is comfortable. There is an A/C that we didn’t have to use as it was quite cool. There is a common room with all you need to make tea and (instant) coffee.

The room was exactly as described.

The location is beyond ideal. You are right in the heart of Catania, close to the cathedral, Via Etna, and tons of nightlife (Bar Boheme, Razmataz, and Orange Pub are just up the street). Giorgio was also very responsive and helpful. For the value, you won't find a better spot.

The beds are very firm. Personally, I didn't care for it. If this is your thing, you will absolutely love this place.

This is the best accommodation of our trip! Located right in the old part of Catania, with a gorgeous balcony, large room, excellent facilities, on a little street with a great vibe! However the room is quiet as it has sound proof doors to the balcony! The best part is the wonderful host Georgo - so helpful with great suggestions on what to do and where to get great coffee and food. I highly recommend this place, book it now!
