Platamone Rooms

The host is very warm and kind person. The balcony with a sea view was very lovely and everything was tidy in the room.

My flight was delayed, but the host kindly waited for me until 2 am for check-in. Late check-in is a possibility here. They included a continental breakfast with coffee and croissants. The place was very clean and conveniently located near bus terminals and the main train station. Although the area might appear rough, I don't think that's necessarily true. I had a great time in Catania!

Location, a walking to the city centre and the easy parking around the accommodation.

The wifi signal was weak in rooms.

The room and bathroom were huge. The place has a shared kitchenette. Even though there were other rooms, it was very private. the room had a small balcony facing the street. On-street parking in front of the place was reasonably easy (October). Walking distance to the city center. Croissants and coffee for breakfast.

The room and bath where very clean, we had a very good communication with how to acces the property, so no complains here also the price was unbeatable. The value price-quality was the best we could have. You also have access to a kitchen and I believe in the morning you can have a little breakfast, we left to early to see.

The thing is this location is near the train and bus station(we had an early flight and that s why we choose this location) so there s a lot of activity until late at night. We also took a wrong Street and ended up in a bad neigbourhood so use maps/waze if you walk back.
