Platamone Rooms

It was in a good location close to the station and the rooms were very spacious.

The aircon didn’t work very well so the room was very hot. The other room had a bad smell to it as well.

Wonderful location, close to train. Nice big room w patio. tv had losts of channels. walkable to centro, lots of food option closeby.

The location was perfect, 5 minutes walk to theain railway station. Plenty of cafes nearby. The apartment had a sea view through the trees. WiFi signal was strong and decent speed. Shower was hot and had a strong flow. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was very clean. The host was helpful and always available via WhatsApp.

The air conditioning was ineffective, so the apartment was quite stuffy. No elevator and the stairs are steep and narrow. Pungent odour from the bathroom. Closing the door was a big help though.

No breakfast. Location very close to Stazione Centrale but unfortunately the road outside was very busy.

Didn't realise the towels would not be changed but got back in time to rectify.

Beautiful, comfortable room that had everything I needed during my stay in Catania. The host was truly kind, very helpful and always available - even when I needed to check-in a bit earlier. The area was quite near to the city centre and the main train and bus station were just 3 minutes away. I highly recommend staying in Platamone Rooms!

Unfortunately, the WiFI connection wasn’t the best in the room I was staying in.

Very modern apartment and very comfortable. Clean!!!!! Location next to bus for airport. Easy and free parking location. Easy walking to Center. Nice balcony. Good lady helping us with our questions. Thank you! 🙏

Good value for money, great location 2mins walk from the main train station. Also very clean 👌

The room I stayed in had windows facing a very busy street, so definitely not recommended for people with light sleep. Also would be nice to have a fan in summer as it was a choice between not being able to sleep because of the noise while having the windows open or dying of suffocation. Otherwise all good.

bed was so comfortable, loved my room, the lady helped me with my heavy suitcase all on the stairs (so so sweet), clear communication, super clean. Ottimo.

A hidden gem in Catania! Very responsive, easy to check or in- check out and super close to the train station. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family!
