The location is excellent. It is right in the centre of Salerno and within easy walking distance of the main attractions. Unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of our stay.

The hygiene standards were simply unacceptable. We found hair on the towels, the bathroom was dirty, and the glasses in the kitchen were covered in grease and completely unusable. I even tried washing them myself, only to discover that the dishcloths and cleaning cloths were even dirtier than the glasses, making the kitchen effectively unusable. There was a coffee machine but no coffee capsules. Arriving on a 30°C summer day and not finding even a bottle of drinking water would already have been disappointing. Instead, we found a half-empty glass bottle of water that had almost certainly been left behind by previous guests. That alone says a lot about the level of cleaning and attention to detail. What I found particularly disappointing was how the complaint was handled. Before arriving, I had asked to shorten my booking from two nights to one and was told that this was absolutely impossible. However, after I complained about the appalling conditions, the host suddenly offered the second night free of charge. It felt less like genuine customer care and more like an attempt to avoid a negative review. Everyone can make mistakes, but cleanliness should never be optional. A central location cannot compensate for such poor hygiene standards and the lack of professionalism we experienced. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this property.

Everything is what you make it so would hate to nick pick

Die Unterkunft war sehr hell und das Bad war sehr schön und modern. Auch Handtücher und Bettwäsche waren sauber. Die Lage war ebenfalls sehr gut und ich habe mich als alleinreisende Frau sicher gefühlt.

Was mich davon abhält 10 Punkte zu geben, sind organisatorische Probleme, die natürlich mal vorkommen können, aber in anderen Unterkünften, die ich mit 10 bewertet habe, eben nicht vorkamen. Abgesehen davon war der Duschkopf so sehr verkalkt, dass kein ordentlicher Wasserdruck zustande kam.

very good service, super location and in 5 minutes you could go to the shopping center and the sea. Franceso served us for everything and responded in record time to any ambiguity, as well as helping us a lot with the suggestions he gave us to explore the country. the review from Albania 🇦🇱🫶🏻
