Hosts were amazingly helpful and kind, arranged to picked me up at the airport (on a late flight) for a small fee. Easy to communicate with via app and text. Building is safe and secure. Common areas have everything you need if you don't want to eat out every day/designated space in the fridge for your food items. Hosts supplied water/juice and some packaged items to munch on for morning. Rooms were clean and tidy/good size. Bathroom was well lit, lots of space and clean. The bed was comfortable enough. There is a supermarket around the corner and a cafe/bar/wood-fired pizza restaurant right outside the building. Walking to and from takes about 20 minutes to get to city centre, 45 minutes walk to the beach. Mostly flat walking.

Noise is my biggest issue. Light sleepers may not enjoy this place. There was a lot of noise at night outside that was not blocked out from inside the building. Also, can hear people coming into the building as the unit is on the main level and the sound echos in the entrance area. I realize this is something the hosts cannot control but would have been nice to know in advance of booking. Walking routes: Google maps will give you a different route every time coming and going to this location, as another guest mention in their review I would also suggest sticking to the main street to this location, some of the routes were not very pretty. Walked both during the day and night, was safe and well lit.

Really friendly, big room and good service

I didn't pay attention to the location and if you're traveling without a car, it is very hard to reach. 45 minutes uphill walking from the train and bus station. 30 minutes walk to the city center

The host was nice and provided a few bottles of water and juice. The bed and linen were clean and fresh, that was the most important thing for me. The rate was cheap (41€ per night) and it suited me as I came only for 3 nights.

I searched for B&B with breakfast, but can hardly name it a breakfast. Especially taking into account that its Italy! Didnt even try it once. I dont eat sweets. Despite the cosy bed, the pillows are huge, every morning I felt discomfort in my neck. Floors had not been cleaned I assume - there were pieces of hair everywhere. The furniture, bathtube and the rest are pretty old. I wouldnt have chosen such a place but they had a good fare of around 41€ per night which I needed at that time. The place is located in 25 mins by foot from the center which would be fine but its not in the best area so it was scary for me alone to come back in the evening. The beach nearby was very crowded so I didnt swim despite +32 degrees.

This Appartement has a comfortable location: it took us 15-20 min by foot to get in the middle of the Ortigia, and the same time to get to the Archaeological district Neapolis, but the most wonderful that it was some 300 meters to the central bus stop (we could easily drive to airport and to the local beaches Arenella and Fontane Biancha- buses 21, 22, 23, download app Moovit to find the bus routes). The flat was staffed with all the most needed, we had a separate entrance as we stayed on the ground floor. When we noticed the toilet paper absence by mistake - the owner arrived to bring it to us. The owner was kind to answer all our questions and cover the needs.

Nothing. Maybe if someone wants to cook much, there won’t be much kitchen staff, but for a small breakfast or snack it was enough for us.

First of all, I’d like to admit that the owner was really net and helpful, she took us from the airport for extra payment! During our 2 night stay she brought food for breakfast, tried to ask our needs - the problem was the language (in general with English on Sicilia). The breakfast is really Italian one: coffee, yogurt, milk without lactose, small croissants and muffins (specially for each room), some bread, Nutella and jam. Good for girls, find that might be too small for boys. As the flat consists of 3 rooms, and bakery staff is on general plate in the kitchen, so depending on the guests if someone takes more - the others could stay without))) it took us 20 minutes to get to the Central Park Bellini by foot and approximately 45 min to the Central Bus Station. In general, I appreciated the stay, as it’s worth it’s price.

Concerning the apartment I can’t say something bad. The only street where the building is on seems a bit scary, especially in the night time. So we used the central lighted streets to get to the apartment, but still some piece of the street Via Acquedotto Greco you should pass by)
