Anna is a lovely and lively host, who let us check-in a bit earlier than the designated time. The room is an aesthetic heaven of sorts, with a spacious bathroom and storage units for one’s stuff, and is just very thoughtfully designed. The location is pretty good too, as it’s just a 2 minute walk away from a bus stop. As it is located in the historical centre of the city, one can simply walk around to explore, and end up finding all kinds of interesting locations.

The only drawback, if I absolutely had to say, is that there is no kettle available in the room, in case one would like to have hot/boiled water for any purpose. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Recently renovated room in a party area of Palermo. If you are looking to be close to some trendy bars and lots of young people, great location, if you’re trying to relax and sleep, not so great.

The room was large and simple, but unfortunately there was a panel separating our room from the host’s apartment that wasn’t properly installed. I could hear every movement the host made in the kitchen, which was right against our wall. Another design oversight was the lack of shutters beyond the windows to the small balcony and the windows themselves. the window doors were not double paned and all street noise, people yelling and singing all night, could be heard until about 5 am. There is a large yellow street lamp that is about one meter from the balcony, the lack of external shutters meant that this light entered the room all night around the edges and between the curtains. All in all, nearly impossible to sleep there. Also, booking indicated that this was a bed and breakfast and that breakfast was included. When we arrived we were told that this was a mistake, there was no breakfast available, and the host offered no option for coffee either by keeping a coffee machine or kettle in the room, sending us to a nearby bar, or by offering to make us a moka coffee in the morning. I had to walk about 25 minutes in the rain in the morning to find a bar open that would make me a coffee. unacceptable for a “bed and breakfast”. We were so dissatisfied that we left after one night and found a much better structure.

Anna is very good and friendly host. She let us check in early in the noon and was supporting with some errands (though they were not part of the booking). The room is at a perfect location, with everything from pubs to parks to eateries next door or nearby. Highly recommended staying here!

Very comfortable room with a big bathroom, in a very live and beautiful neighborhood, Kalsa. Plus, it is located 10 minutes from the train and bus station, so it was ideal for our transportation. Anna was very kind and helpful with our luggage.

Although in the description of the room, breakfast was included (to near cafe), this amenity is no longer offered, which Anna told us on our first day.. To be fair, after we booked the room, Booking.com actually noted that no meals were included, but this is an inconsistency. Not the biggest problem, but the description of the room must fit the actual amenities. .
