The view from the room. Close to town c entre, but most of the hotels/apartments in Ortisi are close to the town centre anyway.

The manager wasn't that willing to help, he was grumpy when we asked him to help with the luggage up to third floor ( there is no lift, we are 74 and my knees need operation soon). When we could not make the safe operate, he gave us a look of contempt as he had to walk up to the top floor, then he blamed us not opening the bathroom window. This hotel is the only hotel where no ventilation fan is installed in the bathroom. The walk up to the hotel is very steep though not a long climb.

"Perfecte locatie, goede kamer, vriendelijke ontvangst, alles bij mekaar toch wel prijzig."

Prima locatie vlakbij centrum en op korte wandelafstend van kabelbanen. Vriendelijke ontvangst door gastheer, familiale sfeer.

De kamers zijn comfortabel maar eerder verouderd, zeker zo je rekening houdt met de toch wel forse prijs. Het ontbijt was goed, correct zonder meer, maar ook hier had ik gezien de prijs van de kamer een wat uitgebreider aanbod verwacht. Gelijkaardige prijsklasse in een top-toeristisch oord in Tirol bv biedt veel meer, maar wellicht is Ortisei een zeer dure plek om te verblijven.
