Luxury B&B Charlemagne

The two hosts were great and did everything to make our stay perfect. The breakfast was exceptional and better than in a lot of hotel I have been before. The location is very central, close to the train station and the harbour were you can get ferries to Positano and Amalfi. Also the old town is only a few minutes walk away. The accommodation was very clean. I would definitely choose this B&B again.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience during my stay at this hotel! The location couldn't be more perfect - just a mere 1-minute walk from both the train and bus stations, as well as the port. This made my travels incredibly convenient and stress-free, allowing me to explore the city with ease. The staff at the hotel were truly exceptional - warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any request I had. Their friendly demeanor made me feel right at home, and their insightful recommendations for local attractions and restaurants added an extra touch to my trip. As for the room, it was immaculate! The cleanliness was second to none, and I appreciated the attention to detail that went into maintaining such a pristine environment. It provided a cozy and relaxing space to unwind after a day of sightseeing. I cannot recommend this hotel enough - the combination of its excellent location, friendly staff, and spotless rooms made for a truly memorable experience. If I ever find myself in this city again, I will undoubtedly choose to stay here. Thank you for a fantastic stay! 👏👏👏

Extremely friendly, luxury and friendly small B&B

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights as we were meeting with her son and his partner. The property is close to the train station in a Main Street very convenient for shopping, restaurants, ferries and taxis. The rooms are tastefully decorated, very clean and Enzo the host will happily arrange for cleaning every day if you’re that way inclined! Our room had a balcony with a couple of chairs and a small table, ideal if your a smoker, ashtray provided. The medium sized bedroom had plenty of storage space, a fridge, a safe, TV and air con. The bathroom has a very large shower (complete with auto changing coloured lights) rain shower and telephone shower both powerful which I like as a larger man. There is also a bidet! The TV only has 1 English Channel which changes location every day but we had an iPad so we just watched movies on that late at night. Breakfast is served in the dining room from 8-9 each morning. A small cold buffet with a selection of meat, cheese and tomato is provided, brown and white bread, croissants, focaccia, etc. A selection of cereals, fruit, yogurt and fruit juice is also provided. There is a kettle for those who like tea and a small coffee machine too. If you want a cappuccino just ask and it will be provided. Cold bottled water is available from the fridge if desired. A small dish if fresh strawberries and cream was a nice touch and scrambled eggs available if desired.

It didn’t affect us but no food is allowed in the bedroom and no organic waste allowed. For younger guests who maybe wanted to bring back pizza or other take out food this might be an issue but I’m sure Enzo would allow the use of the dining room for this. No kettle in the room and again I’m sure it was fine to use the one in the dining room if you fancied a cup of tea. Both of the above are very minor issues!
