Villa Caruso

The double room with seaside view was beautiful. Waking up every morning to a beautiful view of the sea was truly stunning. In the evening, the sunsets were truly exceptional. Waking up to the sound of the waves was magical. For 2 people, we found it to be the perfect little space with lots of space for luggage/bags. The bathroom is spacious, there is a mini fridge and a safe. The kitchen had everything you needed, water/milk/café/tea always available. The breakfast is nothing special- prepackaged croissants etc. but lovely to grab and go if you are in a rush. There are bars close by with freshly baked treats which I suggest instead. The beach is a short walk- down the road, down the lift and you are there! 15-20 min walk to the train station- be aware that if you are taking the EAV (local train) it gets very very busy as Napoli to Sorrento/Sorrento to Napoli is a very popular route for tourists and locals. Anytime of day we trained was packed. Give yourself time. Many local restaurants/bars in walking distance. The grocery store (Despar) is a 10-15 min walk away. Walking around the town is also very very lovely. (I truly suggest walking 25 mins to Annare’ restaurant. Best meal we had in Italy over the last two weeks travelling!) All in all- a wonderful stay, made some fellow Canadian friends during our stay as well. The views were just stunning. Grazie mille!

Everything was lovely, other than our toilet seat that was broken, the prepackaged breakfast, and no hand soap everything else was stunning.

The view from our window was beautiful, you could lie in bed listening to the sound of the sea. It was comfortable and clean, close to the bus stop for Sorrento

You couldn’t use the cooker even though on our first night there was nowhere close by to go and eat. Few things could of done with fixing in the room toilet roll holder, toilet seat & grout in shower could do with a deep clean

Todo perfecto. Las vistas espectaculares. La zona tranquila y bien ubicada para ir a todas las zonas. Colecciones en tren o bus cerca. El piso limpio , bonito y cómodo. La atención de la pareja que nos recibió fue perfecta. Recomendable 100×100

WiFi didn’t work the whole time we were there, and wasn’t any hand soap/wash in the bathroom

The view! Such a great place to stay for a few days. The owner and his lovely assistant were very helpful (Google Maps is hopeless!) There was a refrigerator in the room as well as a kitchen downstairs where we had breakfast daily. ☀️Take bus number 8 into Sorrento and take the smaller bus to Marina Piccolo if you are heading to Amalfi. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves. Just gorgeous.
