B & B Arcobaleno

Stanza accogliente in un appartamento in palazzo storico, ma ben tenuto, centralissimo, posto all'inizio di Cosenza vecchia a pochi passi sia dal duomo sia da corso Mazzini.

In sé nulla. Non è assolutamente un problema del gestore, ma dalla Stazione ferroviaria di Cosenza alla struttura bisogna, necessariamente, prendere un autobus (non erano presenti nemmeno taxi): a piedi è improponibile perché attraversa la superstrada.

The B&B is basically an apartment where the living room has been replaced with a breakfast room (you'll find a coffee machine and a couple of tables with chairs). There is also a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is very new, modern and clean. Location is very central, handy for both the new & old town of Cosenza. The owner was always quick and prompt to answer our questions.

- Our room was smelling of cigarette smoke when we arrived. - Parking is on a public square, the description says that it will be reserved for you, but in fact we just had to find a spot ourselves. I'm not sure what we would have done if the parking lot on the square was full. Better clarify this in advance if parking nearby is a must for you. - There is a busy gelateria just under the B&B. Luckily it closed at 10.30pm which was okay for us to sleep. However, they left a mountain of rubbish on the side of the building, which we had to walk past to get to the B&B and was only collected in the afternoon of the following day. - I thought breakfast would be served in the B&B breakfast room, instead we had to go to a cafe nearby, which wouldn't have been an issue, except this place also smelt of cigarette smoke and was lined with slot machines. The only things you can have are sweet croissants & coffee, no fruit or fruit juice was on offer.

Lovely room, clean and espacious.Locations is perfect to explore the city. Tommaso is very kind and accommodating. We appreciated that our two little dogs were also welcome. We enjoyed the breakfast in the little tabac shop over the bridge. Thank you! 😊

Vitually whole experience. scenery, weather, prices and food.

Not used to sharing shower/toilet facilities. No internet, or english tv chanels.

staff always available and very kind in meeting my requests. perfect location to reach walking both the historical centre of Cosenza and the new part of the city.
