Bed and Breakfast Locanda Lugagnano

Breakfast was taken in a large comfortable room in the villa, the walls of which were hung with paintings by Borio, the owner's father, and Ludovica served us with an ample breakfast which included fried eggs! on special request. We were encouraged to walk through the beautiful garden, dotted with huge pots containing lemon trees amongst other ornamental shrubs.

We had a wonderful time in the accommodation and the surrounding area of ​​Milano. The former monastery and the area full of magnificent country houses took us to another time. The host family gave us a warm welcome and we were even invited to an in house party in advance. This was a big surprise for us and we were so grateful to meet family and friends of the house. The location is perfect to experience the big city feeling of Milano and retreat to the countryside. From Abbiategrasso you also have good connections to Milano and back by public transport. The breakfast was super delicious and we just enjoyed ourselves. Thank you very much for this great accommodation, we will definitely come back

It was close to the motorway!

The Facility was shabby. The room could not be locked from the outside. The Bremskraft was simple and not very variable.

The building and the rooms are gorgeous and very comfortable. The large grounds are beautiful and lovely for walking around.

The propietors seemed self-absorbed when we arrived, almost to the point of unfriendliness. The next morning they were more friendly. Yet they were very efficient, gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner, and prepared a terrific breakfast the next morning.

The authentic design of this rustico is so nice - when you have a passion for original Lombarian building structure. The owners are very flexible for arrival and departure times

I had no key on my room to lock it from outside - only a mechanical lock from inside - should be improved

We asked the owner if we could leave one night early as we were scared of the traffic on a bank holiday. We agreed with her for a credit of one night if we pay the whole stay now. Once we packed the car and when paying, she said that actually it won't be possible (!). Bonus: She made us pay the extra fees for our dog including the night we didn't stay. What a joke! We won't recommend it.

Good breakfast, great courtyard and a rare chance to stay in a 17th century villa. Fast wifi was a bonus!

Lots of mosquitoes, it's a problem all over Italy though.
