La Palombara B&B

It's a beautiful home in a beautiful location. The homemade breakfast in the morning was delicious and served on a terrace overlooking the Bay of Naples. I can't say enough about how accommodating the host and her family were. It was perfect.

This is such a special place, perfect setting, beautiful views, the loveliest hosts - Giovanna and Andrea so welcoming and helpful. Pretty room, delightful terrace overlooking sea, the most delicious breakfasts, with home-grown fruit, omelettes from their own hens' eggs, home-made preserves. A memorable place to stay!

Where do I begin? We were greeted at the train station in the beautiful vico equense by our amazing hosts Giovanna and Andrea. They were so warm and welcoming and made us feel at home. They introduced us to their absolutely stunning property and told us that their home is now our home. The views are incredible. We felt like part of their lovely family. Carmine is their son who also helps out with driving you around the local town when you need it. They attend to your every need and made our trip so special. And the breakfast, wow! So much variety and lots of home made jams etc. And again, the view at breakfast is just magical. To summarise, it was beautiful, it was idyllic, it was romantic and it was amazingly Italian. You have to stay here. We are so sad to go home and we will miss you Giovanna, Andrea and Carmine!

Giovanna was the best host one could possibly ask for. She was very considerate, sweet and accommodating. The food tasted like it was fresh from the farm and it was all cooked by her using her homegrown tomatoes, lemons, eggs and what not. The view was spectacular and the stay made our trip Ann unforgettable one!

Everything was great, Gabriella and her family made us feel very welcome, the location is idyllic. If you have an opportunity to stay here, take it.

Everything. The hospitality of Giovanna & Andre was impeccable. The view was amazing. Breakfast was beautiful. Andre’s cappuccino’s was great each morning. Giovanna’s cooking was delicious. They were the perfect hosts and I’ll be recommending La Palombara to everyone. It was central to Sorrento and about an hour and 15minutes by train to Naples. Andre and Giovanna provided free shuttle service into town but the walk was beautiful with the views and only about 15 minutes. I will miss these beautiful people. They were so very kind.

There was absolutely nothing that we didn’t like. If I could score more I would.

Beautiful spot, loved the veiws , the hosts were remarkable couple who went out of their way to make sure guests were happy.

The rain

Giovanna is a wonderful host who works incredibly hard to make her guests happy throughout their entire stay. She and her husband Andrea went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible experience while staying at her B&B. She provided an incredible breakfast each morning with a beautiful view! We highly recommend staying at her property if you are looking to get off the beaten path but still be within earshot of the Amalfi Coast.

we loved our stay at La Palombara. the family run atmosphere is heartwarming and you feel so well cared for. Giovanna makes you feel like part of the family. The views are fantastic, the outdoor terrace is just marvelous to enjoy the generous and delicious breakfast. Knowing you are eating local foods and local specialties makes it that much more enjoyable. The shuttle service that is offered means no car is needed to enjoy this beautiful location. easy access to train station allows many options for day trips in the area.
