"Lovely welcome. Quiet area"

Lovely, welcoming stay at Le Chalet del Pollino. Room was comfortable opening on to a terrace. Nice views, very quiet area. Breakfast was plentiful.

One thing to note which isn't clear from the listing is there's a €10 charge to use the kitchen. We hadn't picked this up, had bought food to cook as we thought facilities were available.

"A fabulous find, right in the middle of Pollino NP! Would highly recommend."

Delicious coffee, yoghurt & fruit for breakfast. Well appointed accommodation, easy to find. Plenty of space to relax in the chalet’s garden surrounded by wonderful scenery. Friendly host. Loved the family dog!

We would have liked cereal rather than sweet cakes/biscuits as part of the breakfast. Hard pillows.

"Good place de to stay for hikers in the"

Multi-lingual and friendly hosts (French and English). Gave us information on sightseeing in the region (and even a small gift of local produce when we left). The host also runs a bar in the centre of town which was a good place to have a snack and drink after hiking in the park. Close access to hiking trails (but car is essential)

The rooms aren’t well soundproofed.
