Host was as super nice

The house and grounds are lovely! The beach is just a few steps away, the breakfast superb, and the rooftop patio was perfect!

You park on the street outside the unit. Smaller cars are better. We couldn’t help what the rental car gave us, but it was a bit tight at times. However, the owner was very sweet and would save the easiest spot for us.

Very close to the beach, lovely garden and roof terrace. Annalisa was a perfect host.

Nearby beach club music playing till about 3am. Although you couldn’t hear this if the windows were closed and the a/c was on

Comfort and position, close to the beach

The sea is next to the apartment.

The apartment that we’re given is in BASEMENT !!! There was nothing about this in the description;(( So, there were a lot of mosquitoes, insects, etc and the musty smell, that went away only a few days after the arrival. Large camping village is next to the garden;(( and every evening till early morning you will listen to their very loud music from disco-parties even behind closed doors! The floor of the apartment is just the varnished cement one with a couple of plastic carpets… The front door of the apartment is the “sliding window” the hardest to open and close;(( There’s no place for the child’s bed but in the wardrobe where it’s impossible to breathe. So, we had to move him to the extremely soft sofa, where he was sleeping as in a hole. The host 4 times during 7 days without the notice in our supposed absence (the car drove away) was coming to the apartment through the inner door that was extremely strange and unpleasant.

We had a lovely short stay at B&B D'A Mare to round off our Puglia holiday at the beach. The best thing is undoubtedly the location - you are a minute's walk from a free beach with crystalline waters. You can make use of the host's beach umbrella for a bit of shade, as well as the outside shower to get the sand off. We knew the B&B is inside a locked compound (the host was very good at keeping in touch and was ready for our arrival to let us in) but we didn't expect that on either side of the compound lining the beach were several bars and beach clubs in very close walking distance - we thought it would be more isolated than it was. So this was a huge plus! We hired deck chairs on the second day with a big umbrella to maximise our comfort, which was worth the money. I still got sunburnt so beware the vicious sun. We enjoyed club Lullabay for the evening entertainment. The air-con in the room was also really good and the continental breakfast was healthy and delicious with homemade pastries - a shame we couldn't eat all of it! Remember to bring cash for the big breakfast if it's not included in the booking. Otherwise a basic coffee and small pastry is included.

The bed was a little soft for our liking, but this is it. We had a lovely stay.

Very good location. First row access to the beach. Fantastic rooftop terrace. Sweet and hospitable host. A small paradise in Puglia.

The loccation was super convenient right next to the beach. The house was amazing eith the terrace and the host was super lovely. Best accomodation in Puglia so far. Would totally go back on a next visit.
