"A rare opportunity to stay in a property steeped in history with beautiful frescoes."

I only had coffee and juice at breakfast. The most rare and wonderful thing is to stay in an ancient building with glorious frescoes. Ilaria, whose family has owned the house for over 200 years, has furnished and decorated the rooms with taste and distinction. And she provided a very warm and caring welcome.

It was very hard to find a taxi to get to the station. That is not to do with the property but it was certainly a consideration for me, as I was concerned that I wouldn’t make my train. It was a holiday weekend which wouldn’t have helped.
