Yolanda nous a réservé un accueil très chaleureux et prodigué de nombreux conseils appréciables sur des restaurants ou sur la façon de se garer près du lac. Le petit-déjeuner était copieux et très bon. La petite ville est jolie et calme, à l'écart des foules du lac de Côme (en contrepartie il faut prendre la voiture pour toutes les visites et pour aller au restaurant)

L'accès au rustico lago est compliqué : une fois arrivés par une route très tortueuse (voiture indispensable), il faut marcher 10 mn dans des rues piétonnes et escarpées pour arriver à l'hôtel. Le confort de la chambre pourrait être amélioré, en particulier la literie.

Een rustige omgeving met prachtig uitzicht en fantastische hosts. Er was een uitgebreid ontbijt en de familie deed hun uiterste best een prettig verblijf te verzorgen. Ook complimenten aan zoon Quyaro voor de goede zorgen. Wij zouden zeker terugkomen!

Our hosts Yolanda, Rob and Quyaro are such a lovely family and are great to have a chat with, get sightseeing tips from, and just completed a wonderful stay in Barna. Supplied breakfast was thoughtful, delish and filling and our accommodation was beautifully decorated and cozy. The location is quiet, tucked in a beautiful little village a short drive or a nice forrest walk away from Menaggio. We highly recommend this stay!!

Nothing to say, except, we should have stayed longer!

Loved the rustic charm of the place. I was looking for somewhere 'different' with character. Something different from a normal hotel and this offered that. I loved sitting on balcony on the night at the little table and watching the night draw in. I loved the silence and pure darkness, only interrupted by the bells ringing which added to its charm. Very friendly hosts.

Directions \ instructions from the car park - it was to some extent a little adventure to find the building but others may see that as an area for improvement. However host was very responsive to messages over whatsapp and signal is surprisingly good that high up in the mountain.

Beautiful place in between the mountains. The village feels like it stopped on time. The hosts are very friendly and the place cozy. :)

We really enjoyed our stay. Rob and Yolanda were so friendly and helpful. The room and all the facility were so clean and neat. The location is good in the nature. If you are lucky you can even see a deer and a fox.
