Exceptional villa in the heart of lower Tuscany. We felt very welcome, and the hosts were extremely nice. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. An extremely delicious breakfast with lots of different choices of local food (too bad our tummies have limited space!). The location is great – a short walk to the village, spa, and natural baths, with parking available on the property. The villa is authentically furnished and well maintained. A quiet and peaceful location. We warmly recommend booking this property to anyone who values authenticity and the true feeling of Tuscan life.

I have the feeling that life in this part of Tuscany may slowly disappear due to a lack of opportunities and development. Access is limited, and infrastructure is progressing very slowly. People here are doing their best, but without support, it is hard to see how the community can continue to survive in the long run. I believe that responsible travellers can play an important role by supporting places like this and helping keep them alive.
