B&B Alta Marea Lipari

Close to where my daughter lived.

Not much variety for breakfast ... no buffet,not very good if you're gluten-free

Beautiful view of the harbour. Lovely terrace for breakfast. Large room.

Sadly the road below, which many visitors have commented on previously, was a serious negative, not only because of the 24 hour long noise from huge transportation and construction trucks during the day, followed by revellers all night long, but also because of the discomfort of the walk to town along the very narrow shoulder, made even more alarming by the obviously long standing landslide which narrowed the road even further at one point. Another negative aspect, which, as with my first comment I am only writing because of repeated requests to leave a review, was that the person one communicated with via messaging was not actually In Lipari, but in the north of Italy, which led to several unpleasant consequences.

I would not drive in Lipari. The B&B was somewhat away from town on the main coast road with no sidewalks, so be careful walking on the road. The views are amazing! Breakfast was good, staff was super attentive and helpful. Room was sea view so great views!!!

Wonderful B&B in Lipari with a brilliant view on the port. The hostess is a wonderful lady and takes great care of her guests, whether they have questions or need anything else. The location is unique and the room is cosy and comfortable. Every morning, there is a great breakfast. Lipari is a dream destination, offering wonderful Sicilian food in addition to great beaches and hiking trails. The B&B has an amazing and incredible view on Lipari.

There's nothing to complain about.

Really nice views of the ocean/harbor, extraordinary. helpful staff. I did find a bus from the beach that dropped us near the hotel but it didnt go to the ferry stop
