"Disappointing"

The room was like an underground bunker. One small window at the top of one wall. Hoping to be closer to the town of Bolsena, at least walking distance. Not physically far from the town, but getting there by foot along a circuitous hillside road was especially impractical in the frightful heat of late-July Italy.
