B&B L'ORIZZONTE

Very friendly host lovely breakfast.

Just on the edge of the city, great with free and easy parking and nice walk into town via the sea front. Great sea view, short walk to swim if needed.room was great, really comfy bed, and really nice bathroom with great shower.

All good.

The host were really nice. They realized the first morning that we are not really fond of the sweet Italian breakfast. The second day we got omlette for breakfast and that was a nice surprise for us. Thank you once more 😍.

I have been home for over a week and cannot stop thinking about my stay at B & B L’Orizzonte. Picture this, an American girl who embarrassingly cannot speak Italian, traveling by herself, to Crotone for a friend’s wedding. Sounds like a screenplay. When I decided to go to the wedding and began looking for places to stay B&B L’Orizzonte immediately caught my eye. The pictures seduced me, and I am here to tell you that this B&B is even more beautiful in person. My room was spacious, modern yet homey and sun splashed with a beautiful view of the sea. The creme da la crème was my private balcony facing the sea. The outdoor patio with the most comfortable lounge chairs surrounded by beautiful pots of succulents and tropical plants was where I spent many afternoons reading and relaxing in the surroundings. Breakfast was scrumptious with delicious pastries from a local café and generous amounts of espresso and fresh fruit. However, the most wonderful part of my stay, were the hosts. They are the kindest and most lovely couple. Every day I looked forward to seeing them at breakfast and then again, most afternoons. After I told them how much I loved the bed linens and asked where I could purchase similar linens to bring home, they took me to the linen shop. The night before my very early am departure, they waited up for me, after dinner, to say goodbye-tears were shed. When my ride fell through for the airport they worked magic and arranged a taxi. I have been fortunate to travel and without a doubt, B&B L’Orizzonte is my most favorite place on earth. I highly recommend staying at this amazing home. Other highlights are that you are directly across the street from the public beach with gin clear water, easy walk into Crotone from the location. You can also head south on Vialle Magna Grecia for a great walk-I spent an afternoon wandering the streets of the hillsides off of Vialle Magna Grecia enjoying the architecture, fauna and views.
