La cage aux folles B&B

Ein schönes BuB mit wunderbarem Blick über das Meer. Die Vermieterin ist sehr liebenswürdig und ihr Frühstück ist außergewöhnlich gut! Der Shuttlebus zur Innenstadt fährt ganz in der Nähe ab. Der Fußweg zum Shuttlebus ist aufgrund fehlender Fußwege unangenehm - man muss Acht geben! Es hat uns insgesamt sehr gut gefallen!

Gedateerd. Vergane glorie. Boek dit niet! En de eigenaresse rookt in het verblijf waar je ook je ontbijt geserveerd krijt! Dat moet toch niet kunnen! Ook is het niet goedkoop deze B & B. Geen aanrader. zoek even verder. Wij hadden dit verblijf geselecteerd op de hoge score... We begrijpen echter niets van deze hoge waardering..

Carmelita is a wonderful woman who made our stay comfortable and provided a really good and plentiful breakfast each day. We stayed on the second floor. The location is great, and while not in the hustle of Taormina a bit higher on the cliff, all of that was easily accessible via the buses that were maybe 100 meters from the property. The courtyard area for breakfast or even enjoying wine was great. Once the A/C in our room caught up to the initial heat in the room (it was late July), it had no problem keeping our room comfortable. Having onsite free parking was also a welcomed treat and not the norm in our other Sicily adventures before and after Taormina.

The matress was a bit firm for our liking, but this is apparently just how beds in Sicily are, as we felt this way across all our stays during our 2-week journey.

Lokalizacja obiektu jest dobra, śniadania podawane przez właścicielkę były przepyszne, składały się z lokalnych specjałów, dodatkowy atut to duży taras na którym śniadania smakowały wyjątkowo. Właścicielka była miła, uśmiechnięta i służyła pomocą w każdej sytuacji. Bardzo polecam to miejsce.

Le bruit de la route

Ces 3 journées passées à Taormina chez Carmelita ont été extraordinaires . La vue plongeante sur la mer turquoise dès le matin est magique et prendre le petit déjeuner très bon et complet sur la terrasse avec cette vue l'est encore plus . La Cage aux folles est , en plus , très bien placée , il y a une navette toutes les 15 minutes à 2 pas qui nous dépose en haut de la ville de Taormina avec restos , boutiques etc ... Il y a aussi un téléphérique qui descend sur les plages sans que l'on ait à prendre la voiture , c'est appréciable !
