B&B Tarasia

Location was good, just a few minutes walk to the centre, and 15 minutes to Ibla, its all uphill and downhill (a good workout). the place is very clean and the staff very welcoming, Peppino greeted me early before my check in time and explained how everything works. he was ever so helpful. Shower was nice and powerful, bathroom immaculately clean and bed sheets and pillow cases had a beautiful smell of a decadent washing powder, it was a pleasure sleeping on them. The shared kitchen is well equipped with everything one needs, coffee machine, pots and pans. tea and coffee and milk, brioche and biscuits always ready on the centre table for anyone to help themselves. Peppino also suggested this lovely restaurant up the road which gave me a 10% discount just because I told them I was staying at Tarasia B&B. On my last day I was confused how to get a bus back to Marina di Ragusa because the bus's website is not updated and timetable is very confusing so Peppino offered to drive me to the bus station himself, which I thought was very kind, if I go back to Ragusa I will definitely stay here again.

I understand the building is old and the walls very thick and they hold humidity, Therefore the room had a musty smell which hits you as soon as you enter, I suggest the owner places a dehumidifier in there. the kitchen can get a little noisy when people are using it, especially if you are in Room 1 which is exactly next door to the kitchen

Spotless, comfortable room with coffee maker and refrigerator. Only a 2 minute walk to Corso Umberto.

I wouldn't call this a B&B. Yes there's a bed and yes you get breakfast, but you have to get breakfast down the street at a very busy restaurant. There are no kitchen facilities on site, and I did not look forward to battling the crowds at Bar Sicilia every morning. I didn't want to have to sit at a table and eat in public. I like to eat where I am staying while I plan my day. It would be much better to have a table in the spa area with breakfast pastries, yogurts, muesli etc and keep a few plates, bowls, silverware and especially mugs in the rooms. Also, the walls are pretty thin. The man in the only other room next to me snored like a chainsaw, and the family who lives next door was LOUD.

Good location. 12 minutes walk from bus station. Easy to reach Ibla (tuouristy part of Ragusa). Clean apartment. Pretty comfortable bed. Many channels to choose from TV.

Thick walls prevent wifi in room No2, that my be a problem for some.

Clean property in a quiet neighborhood Pippo is a wonderful host who cares about the comfort and well-being of his guests.

Pas de terrasse pour sécher des serviettes humide, pas de frigo dans les chambres, lit trop dur, pas d'air conditionné et pas de fenêtre dans notre chambre.
