The location was the only good thing about this stay.

Our stay started well, but unfortunately several issues seriously affected the experience. The largest window in the room could not properly close, which we reported immediately. The host replied that it was apparently broken and that he would try to fix it, but we never received any follow-up regarding this issue. Later that evening, the air conditioning started behaving abnormally. The unit repeatedly stopped, the flap opened and closed by itself, one of the indicator lights started blinking, and there was even an alarm-like sound coming from the electrical cabinet. We spent hours trying to troubleshoot the problem ourselves. The host initially said he would come that same evening, but in the end he never showed up and stopped responding for the rest of the night. The next day, instead of handling the situation professionally, the host became defensive and accused us of using the AC incorrectly, despite the clear abnormal behavior of the unit and the fact that he himself had initially acknowledged there seemed to be a problem. We also did not appreciate being told that our messages were “meaningless” and that we were “stressing people out.” In addition, we had no working Wi-Fi connection for more than half of our stay, and despite reporting this, the host never followed up on the issue anymore. We also had to repeatedly follow up ourselves regarding basic things such as toilet paper and updates about the situation. To be fair, the AC issue was eventually resolved, and we appreciate that. However, the overall handling of the situation, the lack of communication, and the unprofessional tone afterwards left a very disappointing impression.
