Casa d'Autore

Antonia made us so welcome from the outset though our touring bicycles did look a bit out of place in such a magnificent building. The whole place has an air of calm about it. Breakfast was lovely. The pool was divine in the heat of the day.

Nothing at all - I wish we could have stayed longer!

Très belle demeure à 5 minutes à pied du centre historique. Piscine très agréable avec vue sur la ville blanche. Le personnel est vraiment très serviable et sympathique. La propriétaire l’est tout autant. Elle peut vous fournir de bons conseils pour visiter la région. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à Casa d’Autore et nous n’hésiterons pas à y revenir pour poursuivre notre exploration des Pouilles.

Não é um hotel mas uma casa com vários quartos com bom atendimento, boas instalações e um excelente café da manhã. Não tem estacionamento mas conseguimos deixar o carro sem custo bem em frente a casa por 2 dias.

The most beautiful casa in the older part of Ostuni: not only does it look amazing but it also smells amazing! We had a lovely room with a very comfortable bed (crisp cotton sheets) and the shower was excellent. We were so well looked after and the breakfasts were very good. The pool is lovely but a bit cold when we were there in the middle of May - but we were not deterred! It was a great base to explore the Valley d'Itria and the 'white towns' of the region.

It was a bit tricky finding a parking spot and understanding the pricing i.e. you pay for parking on blue spaces but not the white ones. Once we had that sorted, we did not have a problem finding somewhere each time within easy walking of the Casa.

Beautiful Pool area, Location near old town , great room size, walkable to old town, very comfortable bed, breakfast selections, pleasant staff, cleanliness of hotel, oasis from the hustle and bustle of tourism and loudness.

Limited Parking, bathroom is on the smaller side, but manageable; outside the hotel is street trash and a lot of car traffic, sound of construction next door during the daytime.

Very elegant B&B with comfortable room, towels refreshed daily, great location with easy access to the old city, excellent selection of restaurants within easy walking distance and a lovely pool. Maris looks after all your needs, serves a good breakfast each day and is endlessly cheerful. A wonderful asset to this family owned business. We arrived late and the owner was very helpful in receiving us after 10pm.

Very little. I think there were some obvious omissions with no glasses or tea making facilities in the room or in the common areas, though Maris provided all that we needed in that regard. Also, only one small cake of soap to use between the shower and hand basin. A second would have been welcomed. Parking is a challenge. There is very limited free street parking, though there is a pay parking area close by... the machines are a nightmare to operate and each day we saw bewildered travellers trying to work things out. We used them on 3 consecutive days and there seemed to be no consistency in the way they operate.
