Amazing location, very clean, Tina and her partner are beautiful and very welcoming. Rapallo is great.

Nothing, everything was amazing

Excellent location to visit the surrounding area, literally above the railway station (with windows closed you won’t hear anything from that). Hosts are extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast fresh and good selection. Price is good considering the area.

The hosts Tina and Nino are the nicest people you are ever likely to meet. We stayed in their house in the room with our own bathroom and they live in their own part of the house. Our room was perfect with so much storage space and a very comfy bed, as an added bonus it also had air-conditioning, the bathroom was also excellent with a powerfull shower and plenty of hot water. Each morning Tina and Nino prepared a lovely breakfast which is taken on their terrace area overlooking Rapallo, we enjoyed watching Rapallo come to life each day while having breakfast. ilGirasole is literally a two minute walk to the train and bus stations, a five minute walk into the old town of Rapallo and a couple more minutes to the seafront. There are many restaurants, cafes and bars in Rapallo but don't eat too early as it comes to life after dark. Nino also organised safe parking for our car which in our case did not move for our entire stay. Totally recommended.

Absolutely nothing

Staying at ilGrasole B&B was fantastic, the hosts were incredible, the breafasts in the morning were lovely, and the ease of location in regards to the train line was a highlight after a day of sightseeing.

Our hosts were the friendliest, loveliest people in the world, we felt so welcomed, from the minute we emerged from the train station to find them waving to us from the balcony, all the way through our stay. The house is beautiful, the breakfast on the little terrace had all sorts of delicious things, and it's a 2 minute walk into town. We have nothing negative to say at all.

We loved our host's hospitality. They were very attentive and helpful. The property was very clean and in a perfect location for us. It's very close to the train station which we used to explore but also just a short walk to the old town and sea front for when we wanted to take a boat. The breakfast was plentiful with tea, coffee, fruit, focaccia, cheese, prosciutto, yoghurt, cereal and pastries and more. They were very accommodating in letting us check in early and store our bags after we had checked out (as we had a late flight).

We had a very nice stay with Tina and Nino. This B&B, which is also their home, is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We had a private room and bathroom in a separate area of their apartment. The bed was comfortable with good linens, very nice amenities in the bathroom. An excellent breakfast of yogurt, breads (including GF), fresh fruit, juice, and coffee was served. Every detail has been carefully thought out.
