The welcome of our hosts was fantastic, they couldn’t wait to tell us about the local amenities

Absolutely nothing

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our wonderful stay with Tina and Nino! they were very thoughtful and available hosts who helped us plan lots of fun activities in the area and provided a gorgeous breakfast spread every morning! The rooms and the house were very pretty, spotlessly clean, and had everything you could need. There was even a cute bottle of wine for us when we got there. The location was perfect as the train station was at the bottom of the road and the center of town less than a 5 minute walk. We could not have asked for more in our stay in Rapallo— Grazie Mille!

Tina and Nino were the most welcoming and kindest hosts we have ever stayed with. Everything was exceptional, especially the breakfast each morning. They gave us lots of tips on where to hike and eat locally. San Fruttuoso was one of the places recommended to us by Tina and Nino and it was certainly a day we'll never forget. We felt sad leaving because visiting Tina and Nino felt like visiting family. Italian hospitality at its best!

Not one single thing!

Excellent spot to visit the Portofino Peninsular by bus, foot or boat. Simple but pleasing room 2 minutes from the train station, 10 minutes from seafront, ferry and beaches. and four minutes from the bus station. Comfortable room with private bathroom and use of sitting room. Charming couple Tina and Nino made our stay in Rapallo delightful. We asked for an early check-in and Nino met us from the train at 11am and helped with our luggage. He gave us a map, recommendations for restaurants and the gelateria. We liked the Bar Sole best, a brilliant place to have a drink while watching the sun go down. Breakfast was really good and set in their pretty garden. The table was a picture, see photo. Although we were very close to the trains we were not disturbed. Trains only run during the day. Welcoming complementary half bottle of wine. Good value too. Rapallo is an attractive small town, which we liked better than neighbouring Santa Margherita and Portofino which had more tourists.

The place is centrally located right next to the train station of Rapallo, but surprisingly we did not hear any noise with the windows closed. The hosts are very warm and welcoming, and breakfast is served with utmost love and warmth. We also got some useful tips for the surroundings.

Very friendly and warm hosts, recommendations of places to visit and where to eat was very good. Tasty breakfast with amazing view to city. Place is located near train station, but the sound of trains at night is was barely heard and did not disturbed at all.

We have spent lovely 2 days at ilGirasole B&B. Our hosts were extremely helpful with all the questions about exploring this beautiful part of Italy. It almost felt like I was visiting my favorite aunt, it was so warm and tasty. Highly recommended.

We never met such lovely hosts as Nino and Tina! We felt really welcome and they helped us with great tips for trips in the area. The room was quiet, spacious, cool (airco) and super clean. The bathroom was great too, with a nice bath. The breakfasts were amazing in their lovely little garden.
