Acqua di Mare - Guest House

Our holidays at Aqua Di Mare were really nice. The owner was very kind and helpful. The furniture was new and modern, it was very clean and the service was careful. The garden is looking beautiful and well-kept. We enjoyed sitting at the terrace in the morning and eating a good breakfast. The sea is very close. Thanks for everything.

Splendid location, just outside of the bustle, but near enough, amazing sea view from our room, nice garden where our dog could run a bit. And a nice team in the property, professional.

At breakfast I would only recommend to add some Fresh fruit. Other than that on the whole this B&B Is good.

Great place! Just next to a small beach - there’s beach tools which makes it easy to relax and enjoy - the teras is big and good view. Ricardo was welcoming and warm - highly recommend place

The Host and the Team were very friendly and helpful. He was always available for any questions. The cosy balcony overlooking the inner courtyard was ideal for having our breakfast. The secured parking. The beach was within 20m - small but okay for a quick dip after a day of activities. Not too busy.

The only negative point could be the train line but that is also mentioned in the hotel description. During the week it is less frequented but the weekend more so. That was my impression. This should not be an issue though because one only sleeps there - the trains are less at night. The view from the balcony was obstructed by the train line. A minor obstacle too ;-)

What a lovely little BnB! Very, VERY clean, and I am picky. Lovely large room with plenty of storage, modern bathroom, HUGE terrace, right on the water. Very comfy terrace furniture. You can't get any closer to the sea anywhere in Bordighera. Riccardo the host is so friendly and ready to help and chat. It's about 15 minute walk to the center of town, about 7 mins. uphill into the old town. Lots of wonderful restaurants abound. Nice breakfast, Riccardo even got lots of gluten free options for me. Private parking behind a gate was a rare treat in Bordighera. This house is one of the oldest houses in town, it's been here a very long time, and it's been beautifully renovated. Very special.

We were on the top floor apartment, which has a glorious sea view and a super large terrace. However, the terrace is right in front of the train tracks. Like really close... as if you are on the platform ready to board the train. But this is true all over Bordighera and the Italian Riviera towns -- they put the train tracks right along the waterfront! We were so surprised when we first arrived! But honestly after the first day, we realized we weren't even aware of the train anymore, we barely registered them. I'm sure it's normal for everyone in town anymore.

Lovely host, everything perfectly organized with remote access and own parking spot. The traintracks nearby did not bother at all, windows are soundproof, room is clean and spacious, even a minibar was filled with free drinks. Everything is within walking distance. Lovely town :-)

There was no mention of a train line running right in front of the balcony. Thought the trains did not run at night, thenkfully. Started 06:30. We and other guests had problems with the key opening the front door. We searched but could find no intstructions for opening the gate for parking. The owner then gave us instructions.
