Condizionatore, balconcino e mini frigo sempre utile

Bagno (privato) fuori dalla camera e un po’ piccolino, ma funzionale. Non è un b&b, la colazione si paga a parte e a scelta, anziché essere inclusa.

Ottima la posizione vicina al centro della città, che si raggiunge comodamente a piedi. La camera era luminosa, grande e spaziosa, con un alto soffitto decorato, i letti e i cuscini molto comodi. Il check-in in autonomia, con le chiavi lasciate in una scatolina all'ingresso, è stato facile, e la camera era pulitissima al mio arrivo. C'era un piccolo frigorifero, che con il caldo estivo è stato indispensabile, e il condizionatore d'aria faceva il suo dovere: stavo bene anche solo impostandolo a 28-30 °C. Il proprietario è stato gentilissimo e disponibile, anche se non ho mai avuto in verità bisogno del suo intervento, visto che non si sono verificati problemi durante il mio soggiorno. Ho potuto lasciare le valigie nella struttura durante l'ultimo giorno, dal momento del check-out fino alla mia partenza, il che è stato molto comodo.

L'arredamento della camera era essenziale: oltre al minimo indispensabile (letti, illuminazione, specchio, comodini, armadio per i vestiti) c'erano delle sedie di plastica, un tavolino che per tre persone sarebbe stato piccolo, un televisore a muro che non ho usato, e mancava un appendiabiti. Il tutto era sufficiente per i miei bisogni, forse meno per tre persone, ma qualcosa in più renderebbe la camera più godibile. Il balcone, elencato tra gli “spazi all'aperto” della struttura, era piccolo, non ci si poteva far molto nella pratica; in uno dei due balconcini si trovava anche l'unità esterna dell'aria condizionata. Il bagno, separato dalla camera (come segnalato), era un po' opprimente: stretto, con solo una piccola finestrella in fondo. Sembra che sia stato ricavato suddividendo un bagno normale più ampio in due o tre stanze più piccole. Il ricambio d'aria non era un granché. Inoltre c'era solo una mensola davanti allo specchio per appoggiare i propri prodotti, lo spazio era poco. Per il resto, il bagno era pulito e funzionante, la doccia era instabile ma andava bene comunque. In omaggio del sapone per le mani e un po' di bustine di doccia-shampoo.

Very clean comfortable accomodation . The room is lovely ,spacious with a comfortable bed . The bathroom outside wasn't a problem as you had sole use and could easily lock . Very quiet considering it was a city center location . Lovely restaurant and coffee shop in the immediate area . Easy to walk to all the city and the area around was very clean and felt safe at night .

I found the heavy doors a little challenging as I am a bit older . The fridge in the room was lovely to have but there was no tea or coffee making facilities and for me that was a slight issue .

Goirdano is an amazing host, very helpful and resourceful. The location is very good, a walking distance from all points of interest in Catania.

I wasn't prepared for external bathroom, but i guess this is my fault - not reading the description properly...

Great room with domed cealing with old baroque decoration. Nice view from the window. Lovely caring host. Perfectly located. Square with parking spaces in front.

the bed was very comfortable. the location was very good and the staff was very very helpful.

Staff are very good ( excellent and very kind sufficient) and easy to communicate with them, there are some toiletries as well which is rare. Location wasn't far from the centre.

even you have your own allocated bathroom but it is outside of the actual room so is very not convenient when you for example need to wash your hand ect. Also the area is extremely loud very loud street noise etc.... maybe is not just this accommodation maybe all the same but unfortunately I could not sleep well at all. The house itself very dated and need lots of refurbishing I believe for what it is, It should be cheaper.
