It is a location close to the beaches and many restaurants, cocktails bar, and beach bar with music. There are a few local supermarkets with fresh food and all sorted of drinks at lower prices, there are public buses running every 10 minutes from Poetto to Cagliari Town centre in less than 15 minutes For example, I purchased a single train ticket for 1.30 € (one way) from Elmas airport to Cagliari. Took me 9 minutes to Cagliari. Then, from there, I hop on a local bus that i paid for a single fare 1.80 € ( 90 min run all buses ticket ) from Cagliari train station to Poetto. Attention: If you are a tourist and can't speak, pay attention to your 90 min run ticket. There are often buses inspector travelling, and they fine me with 53 euro because i used my fare in the expried time. i just didn't pay attention to the digital machine when i swapped the ticket. Just pay attention when you swap the card in the digital machine that is inside the bus. Besides everything else. There is not much else to expect from a sea side village than the things I just mentioned. Devil sadle is just within a km from where I was staying. And don't panic, run to the public transport if you want to go in low budget. Use the Google maps' live directions it will save you lots of hussle.

If you are a tourist, be prepared to always take cash in your wallet. There are no ATM machines in Poetto. The nearest ATM was 2 km away from Poetto back to Cagliari ATM Postmat via della pinneta. And I had to go back and forth because my B&B only takes physical cash. Some small businesses around Poetto just take physical cash. Be aware of it.

It was my dream to stay at “Poetto” plage fantastically beautiful and a bit porch area and finally, I made it by booking a very cosy room precisely in the heart of « Poetto ». It was great! Just by dropping by for one night only I managed a lot: went to the beach ( just 10 min on foot ), took a dip in a wavy capricious sea, has a bunch of coffee cups in the nearest supermarket ( just a few steps away from the property ), had an amazing sea vie in the beach located cafeteria. The host was very polite and friendly. I wish I will be back soon! It worth the money and time to explore one of the highest tourist spots in Sardinia! Highly recommend!

Marina was a great hostess. Very Friendly and helpful. Good location for the beach. Free parking nearby. Street food, Shop and Restaurants within walking distance.

Shower was rather cramped.

Everything. Place is superclean and cozy. I loved cozy terrace, where I could spend nice evenings. Location is great, very close to the beach Poetto. The owner is great, very helpful and present. I definitely recommend this place and will come back. Thank you❣️

Everything was absolutely perfect, bus, shop, restaurant, everything around the house. Owner of the accommodation was wonderful and she was helpful in everything. We recommend and we will be happy to return. Lukas and Marcela

Close to beach $

I had to park 1/2 mile away and carry 2 heavy bags. The furniture in the room was old and peeling and the shower was very small like a phone booth.
