Calipso Bed&Breakfast

It was very clean and have an enormous large pool.

For the pool you have to walk 5mins. Because it's a communal pool.

Clean , host very helpful.

I thought the location would have been better, but was very difficult to find.

The owner came out of her unit shouting at us. She was angry that I hadn't called her. I did not see a message from her until we arrived at the B&b. We weren't able to get the air conditioning working. After many messages back and forth she finally came to our unit. She was very rude and condescending but got the unit to work for us. There should have been a mini bar in the unit. There was only an empty small refrigerator. There was no water to drink nor any glasses. There was no Wi-Fi in the unit, only 3 outlets. We had to unplug the lamps to charge our electronics. The next morning breakfast was non existent, only tea bags. I would have rated this place in the negative had that been an option. I will never go back to this place and encourage others to stay away. I will be lodging a formal complaint with booking.com requesting a full refund of the money I paid.

Paper thin walls, I could hear everything that neighbors were talking about so I couldnt really sleep. Shower was super super small The location was not easy to find

The room is quite big and comfortable. There is a bus stop nearby where you can take public transport to center.

The shower cabin is extremely small and uncomfortable to use. Breakfast has very limited options, only some packed baked products, marmelade and breakfast cereal. Not many restaurants, cafes or shops nearby. If you dont have a car the location is not the best.

I had a wonderful staying in calipso It was much more than i had expected, i had a beautiful, big, clean room with a wonderful balcony overlooking the sea, the place has a Huge beautiful swimming pool and i loved to hang out there, i also would like to mention the host Andrea, an amazing woman that helped me a lot with all the things that I needed and i felt like she really took care of me especially with the fact that i was traveling by myself, she helped me with ordering food, taxi and great advice about Catania. I definitely recommend this lovely place, i had a wonderful 7 nights stay that was valu for money (and a fair price) and i will definitely come back again❤️
