When planning to visit Massafra, I was hoping for a decent B&B in this quiet Italian town. But Le Maschere B&B offers so much more: Its location is very convenient, with all there is to see in Massafra plus cafés and restaurants just a few blocks away. For those renting a car, parking in the neighborhood will not be a problem. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean and elegant. The breakfast offered is nice. And then there is the owner, the gentilissima Linda, who is extremely helpful and friendly, treating everyone like a special guest, never like "just another tourist"; I personally felt I was treated like a king. It is people like Linda who give Italy (and especially southern Italy) such a good reputation. Will be gladly visiting again!
