Charming couple. Highly recommend the property

This B&B is in a beautiful location, the grounds are great to relax in and enjoy. Cinzia and Mike are amazing hosts and made us feel right at home. Our two year old loved playing with them and the family dog. All the food Cinzia made, both breakfast and dinner, was absolutely delicious. We thought we'd have dinner at the b&b once or twice but ended up having it every night, it was just so delicious and relaxing.

My wife and I had a 3 nights stay at I Lari Castel del Monte, Andria August 2023. We were greeted by our hosts Michael and Cinzia, very helpful and attentive people, providing us info about the property and region. They recommended visiting Gargano National Park, which was on my list already. So many interesting things to see, not enough time. We drove up to Mount San Angelo, beautiful view, the castle and Duomo very nice, missed Vieste, too far one-day trip to see. Second day they recommended for a beach, Matinele in Bisceglie. Fine sand, warm water, and very calm. 3 Euro for parking, 20 to rent two lounges and umbrella. Not bad at al. Really enjoy it. Property is very well kept, parking, no problem, very quiet area. Inside, room, mid size, no big issues, though. Good working A/C, they provided a small fridge in the room, however in the basement there’s another one you can use. All you have to do is, ask. They will help you right away. We had two diners prepared and served by them, romantic atmosphere, love it.

This stay was so much more than we thought it would be! Beginning with the rooms, everything was neatly prepared and fresh, just like in a 5-star hotel. The building itself is amazing too, beautiful stone walls and timber structures make you feel like staying in an exclusive countryside estate! The owners are so very welcoming and friendly, like not many other hosts we have met! My wife and I only understand italian but cannot speak it very well, nonetheless all communcation was handled very well in english too! As a bonus tip: Definitely book dinner here, as it will pretty sure be the best food you will eat on your holiday! Everything was freshly cooked and you will leave with a full and happy stomach for an unmatched price, I guarantee! Grazie per averci ospitato! Lena & Paul

Athmosphere, Family

Excellent bed and breakfast. Cinzia is a fantastic cook and made for us a marvellous diner with authentic local recipes. Wine was also excellent. Accomodation very comfortable Great location near Castel del Monte castle. Thank You for your welcome.

The house and room are very clean. The home-cooked food was excellent. A multi-course dinner was 35 eur/person (wine/beer/digestif included) and worth it in my opinion. A generous breakfast is included and no additional charge. The hosts were very warm and welcoming. They have very nice outdoor spaces. The internet was fast (50+Mbps). The location is very convenient for visiting Castel del Monte.

I wouldn't say these are things that I didn't like, rather some considerations for people looking for the right place to say based on their preferences. Location is in a small neighborhood with large lots that is 20-30 minutes to a town with shops and dining, so plan accordingly. Hosts will prepare excellent meals, snacks and drinks for you though. You stay in a small but very nice bedroom in a nice home. You have access to shared spaces inside and outside but the only private space is your bedroom and bathroom.

Very nice hosts, nice accomodation, lovely meals. Thor is big, but very friendly and wuiet.
