The location is excellent, very close to the central square and the main tourist area. The room has an interesting charm, being in an old building with high ceilings and an arched structure, which gives it a unique character.

Cleanliness was very poor. We had to clean the furniture ourselves immediately after check-in, wiping dust and dirt with wet wipes. The fridge in the room was extremely small, dirty, and noisy; we cleaned it and had to move it to the bathroom during the night just to be able to sleep. The staircase was very dirty, full of dust, sand, and hairballs, and there were bed linens and towels from the laundry left on the stairs for more than a day, making it uncomfortable and unhygienic to go up. Even though we informed the owner about our arrival time and confirmed the check-in procedure, we had to wait outside for 10 minutes after calling twice. We understand there is no reception and the street door is locked, but this had been asked and discussed in advance. Our room had a window facing the shared upper terrace, which made it noisy at night. At first, we thought it was other guests, but it turned out to be the owner speaking very loudly. When we mentioned this, the answer was to “close the windows” — which were already closed — something we found unprofessional. Breakfast is incorrectly described on Booking. In reality, it is just a €3 voucher for coffee and a croissant at a nearby café. While not terrible, it is misleading, and we believe it is important to be transparent about what is offered. Overall, this accommodation needs much better attention to cleanliness, details, and services, as well as honest marketing on Booking.

Breakfast comprised a voucher for a coffee and croissant at a local cafe, which was close by. The Location is fabulous and close to cafes, shops and key places.

Steps into the property are quite steep and so do not suit if you have mobility issues, particularly with a suitcase.

the hot water is not enough in the bathroom and it is limited storage hot water for the shower. Need to climb the stair. Check-in time is late.

Our first room wasn’t very ideal with a small window opening to a communal area.

The room was not clean. We asked to vacuum because everything was covered in hair, but they only changed the bed linen.

No window view in our room was a tiny square window in the roof , meant room got was stuffy . From 7.30 am work started on the building road blocked off could hear drilling through the walls . Steep marble stairwell up to bedroom
