Domus Meta

The host went above and beyond to help us. She notified us about a problem with the trains and explained what we needed to do before we had started our journey to Meta. She also helped us to plan the next journey. We enjoyed our stay in Meta, visiting the beach and Sorrento.

Nice bedroom, walking distance to the beach, nice restaurants nearby, much better than staying in Sorrento, Positano or Amalfi, rent a scooter to explore and enjoy with much more comfort

The roads have no sidewalk, and you have to fight for space between the cars and scooters.

In a less touristy spot

The 4 keys needed to enter the gate, a main door, another door, and the door to the room. On the day we were leaving for the airport, the main door lock was stuck and the gardener helped us get out. We were trapped for about 15 mins trying to unlock the door. It’s a fire hazard too. A 5th key needed to power the AC and lights. We come back to a hot and stuffy room that takes awhile to cool down in this heat wave. When we return, we are in the dark but if we insert the key for light, then we can’t lock our door. It’s a crazy system. There is no beach towels or umbrella provided. We came from Palermo where our host provided those to us to visit Mondello Beach. The towels are thin and rough. There wasn’t enough shower gel - 2 small bottles for 2 people for 4 nights. We had to ask for extra. There were ants in the room and we had no food.

Federica is a great host. she was patient with all our questions and shared commute options for us to get around Sorrento, positano and amalfi. Room was super clean and comfortable. Location is also good as Sorrento is just 10 mins ride from there. Totally recommend this property.

Location was perfect. Easy access to beach, bus stop and train station. The room was clean and tidy. Host was kind and nice.

Had some problems with hand shower.

The room is extremely comfortable and clean, felt like home. Quiet and cozy area. Extremely nice and friendly staff. I would like to return to this accommodation again and recommend it to friends.

I liked everything

Loved the location of this property. Only 3 stops on train to Sorrento and 9 minute walk to the train/bus station. Great little restaurants and a supermarket close by. Perfect walk down to beautiful beach.

On a busy road but the shutters and double glazing kept out the noise.
