La Torretta

The town was interesting and peaceful. The owners were great people. The view from the windows was great. A selection of breakfast food items available at your leisure. Simple and good places to eat nearby.

It is a bit confusing getting there from the train station and back again, but owners provided in information when asked.

very comfortable room with a small kitchen and private bathroom . We stayed here on an inter-railing trip rather than the overpriced accommodation in Rome . There are good train connections to Rome (42 min journey) and the small hilltop village of Orte is a delight . As other reviewers have said the quantity and variety of food provided for breakfast is excellent; ham, cheese, cereal, bread, yoghurt, fruit, biscuits … highly recommended

it’s a little difficult to find the bus timetables online and they aren’t super regular from the station

I felt like I was in a Sophia Loren movie from the 1960's staying here. Charming ,retro, original. Steeped in history above Roman and Etruscan ruins in a medieval hilltop village. The hosts are friendly and kind.. Self service breakfast with a lot of options.All very clean.

No wifi while I was there, check with host when you arrive.

A perfect place to stay and it was as described. The apartment was very clean with plenty of towels and bedding. The kitchen area was well stocked and we couldn't believe how much breakfast had been provided and there were lots of options to suit dietary needs e.g almond milk. The host was very welcoming and said we could knock on their door if we needed anything. We parked our car in the covered car park which was free from 8pm to 8am and it was easy to find. Overall, it was excellent value for money.
