Saturnia Country Villas

Besides the amazing view, room and breakfast, hospitality was great. Marco welcomes the guests warmly and explains all the delicate and thoughtful design details of the place from key holder to the history of the place. I'm planning to go there every year!

Wow! Just wow! Absolutely stunning! Fabulous accommodations and fabulous hosts provided an absolutely amazing breakfast in their new sun room!

You are lucky if you get a place on that villa. Breathtaking views, fresh air, not too far from the village Saturnia. We were catered for a perfect breakfast, not sweet one like all Italians do. Thanks so much Tiziana for that. Also the owner delivered to us a crate of his own organic red wine ( extra charge for wine , but the price is fair). I would high recommend to get this wine.

It is not about villa, it is about the area. The biggest problem of this area - there are no paths at all for walks. If you have no car, you have to walk on the road (1 km) to the village or to the Spa (2 km). It feels a bit dangerous because of busy roads day and night. Taxi service is very expensive and doesn’t work well at all. Bus service 2-3 buses per day to nearby village Montemerano- must visit . Prices for Saturnia Spa Daily Entrance Midweek 19,00 € Daily Entrance Holidays 27,00 € Afternoon Entrance Midweek 16,00 € Afternoon Entrance Holidays 23,00 € If you want to go to nearby 5 star Hotel for Swimming- which is the best experience- £95 per head. Internet connection/ reception not great everywhere even in villages. If holidays, absolutely impossible to get a place in any village restaurant ( good of bad). Not too many English speakers around. If you have no car, still possible to get to Roma once a day by 2 buses to Albinia and train to Rome ( overall 4 hours)

I enjoyed everthing about the country apartments: the staff, the wonderful location, the furnishings and the breakfast…can’t wait to go back!

The breakfast room gets very hot in the summer…could use air-conditioning.
