Il Profumo del Sale

We can’t rate Il Profumo highly enough - it’s not just a BandB it’s an experience. Celsa is inspirational and her passion for cooking has to be seen to be believed. We ate in for both of the nights that we stayed there and were treated to gastronomical delights and accompanying wines - the best we’ve had on our trip around Sicily so far. So much thought, research and creativity goes into Celsa’s cooking all with organic produce and we really appreciated the effort that Celsa went to to ensure we understood what we were eating and the stories associated with every dish and each wine. Our room was large and comfortable with a fully equipped bathroom and obviously also a delicious breakfast with excellent home made yogurt, bread, jams, cakes and lots of coffee. We will definitely visit Celsa again in the future.

What a beautiful B&B. I loved everything about it. Thank you Chelsa for a splendid stay. Marsala is a wonderful town to visit, highly recommended.

Deze is heel Dichtbij het oude stadscentrum. We hadden een hele ruime slaapkamer en badkamer. Wij hebben ook genoten van het diner, heerlijk.

Celsa is the best of hostesses and a great cook. She specialises in organic foods, gave us a first class breakfast and cooked us a delightful meal in the evening. Our room was very well appointed with a spacious ensuite bathroom. The location is very central, only a few yards from the main square and free parking is easy - only about 5 minutes walk away. All in all, a real find. Steve and Christine Turner.

Nothing

The room had high ceilings, and a couch style lounge area. The washroom was clean and well stocked. The Hostess goes out of her way to make your stay comfortable at all times. She is a former cook and provides an exceptional organic home made breakfast of fresh baked bread, jams , Greek yogurt, fruit and a variety of fresh cakes. There is also an option to have supper in her tiny restaurant. She loves her job and she expresses this to all her guests ie providing historical information of the area.

A tiny irritation which was of no fault to the hostess was the loud music from a restaurant/bar. This changed after day one.

Celsa was a great host. The room and apartment is very quaint. A highlight was the dinner. She is very passionate about genuine Sicilian food. We loved our stay.

Der Aufenthalt bei Celsa war zum Wohlfühlen. Es duftet überall nach Zitrusfrüchten und im Badezimmer nach verschiedenen Seifen. Die Einrichtung und Dekoration ist einzigartig, sehr liebe- und geschmackvoll. Wir haben in ihrem kleinen Restaurant zu Abend gegessen und ein von ihr kreiertes Überraschungsmenü mit Weinbegleitung genossen. Sie gab uns unglaublich viele Infos und kocht nur mit gesunden Bioprodukten. Auch das Frühstück war ein Genuss, ebenfalls hier alles selbst gemacht, sogar das Joghurt. Das Brot duftet nach Zitrone und Orange. Celsa spricht sogar etwas Deutsch... Es gibt kein Fahrstuhl, aber es sind nur wenige Stufen zu ihrer genialen Wohnung. Diesen faszinierenden Aufenthalt werden wir nicht vergessen. Nochmal ein herzliches Dankeschön an Celsa

La posizione della struttura centrale ma con ampie possibilità di parcheggio non a pagamento nei dintorni. Colazione ricca di prodotti freschi e con prodotti inusuali e ricchi in gusto. Noi abbiamo anche usufruito della possibilità di cenare in loco assaporando i sublimi piatti preparati da Celsa che ci ha permesso di vivere un’esperienza culinaria e di racconti di vita unici.

Niente da segnalare.

Struttura in pieno centro a Marsala, si presenta accogliente, molto profumata e pulita. Curata in ogni minimo dettaglio dalla proprietaria Celsa. Bagno attrezzatissimo di ogni confort. Letto e cuscino molto comodi, caparra dotata di aria condizionata e ventole a soffitto.
