Un emplacement exceptionnel au coeur de la vieille ville avec vue sur la mer et la vallée des temples

The view was amazing. You could see the Valley of the Temples from one room and the city of Agrigento from the other room. The location was perfect. Alphonso helped us find a place to park our large van. He also fixed the cracked plastic shower wand that one of the guests accidentally dropped. He charged me for the part, and I paid for it even though I wasn't the one who broke it. (I booked the room for my friends.) The breakfast was good. The rooms were spacious and clean. We were traveling with a group visiting religious sites in Sicily. We really enjoyed visiting the Valley of the Temples and walking along Via Atenea.

Alphonso seemed to be in a grumpy mood on the day we checked in. In fact, we were treated rudely. He seemed stressed and irritated from the moment he tried to help us find a parking spot. We stayed in 4 different hotels in Italy, and our worst experience was at La Casa Di El. In all of the other hotels that we reserved with booking.com we were treated in a very welcoming and cordial manner. It is too bad because his hotel had some of the nicer rooms of all the hotels we stayed at. He also got a little upset when I told him about the broken shower wand. He also stated that the preferred method of payment was cash when Booking.com clearly shows that credit cards are accepted. He seemed to get a little nicer toward the end of our stay although he was a little perturbed when I paid by credit card. I hope and pray that whatever is bothering Alphonso gets better. He doesn't appear to be happy with his career. He will probably respond to this review in a very defensive tone as he has responded to other reviews where he didn't get a 9 or 10. (Sort the reviews by lowest scores and you will see.) You attract more bees with honey.

Gute Ausgangslage für einen Spaziergang durch die Altstadt von Agrigento und für einen Besuch der Tempel. Gratis Parkplätze sind gleich in der Nähe der Unterkunft. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
