Great location. Clean, clean, clean. Air conditioning worked well. Quiet and private room.

I don't mind the steps at all but am pointing out in case somebody had difficulty with steps. Our room was up three flights of stairs.

Clean facilities

No wifi in the kitchen area , while mobile reception was non existent

I was positively surprised when I arrived at the property and got the tour of the place I would be staying. By chance, I was the only one staying there at the time, which meant that I had it all to myself. So, I had basically booked a whole house right inside Melfi's old town. The bedroom was huge with a big comfy bed. Plenty of space for a whole family. The bathroom was also clean and decent. There was a small balcony, a sitting area, a study and a vestibule area. I don't remember seeing an A/C but there was a fridge and a TV (which I couldn't get it to work). The location is just ideal, almost at the outskirts of the old town, so everything is within reach on foot, eg the old castle, the city park, the modern neighborhood, the municipal parking. The hostess was extremely helpful but she doesn't really speak English so my basic Italian definitely came in handy there.

The only thing I will mention is the "breakfast" part as it seemed a bit complicated. I was given a voucher and told to go to the nearby bar/cafe and ask for the breakfast. I wasn't so sure and just skipped that part.
