If you like to be pampered by the kindest people you could imagine in the most beatiful surroundings, this is the place for you....Julia and Ian are the most wonderful hosts with a great sense of humor also...they made our holiday extra special..

We spent in Casa del Roseto one night, during our trip. It's a pity we couldn't stay longer. Everything was just perfect. The room was comfortable and decorated with a lot of taste and attention to details, as well as the whole house. We appreciated very much the lovely lodge for the guests on the ground floor - a beautiful room with fireplace and the original paintings of the ceiling! Julia and Ian are incredibly nice and warm hosts. They are passionate and open-hearted. They prepared for us the amazing welcome aperitif. And the breakfast was the icing on the cake!

We had a wonderful stay with Ian and Julia at Casa del Roseto. The house has been beautifully and lovingly restored. The rooms are superbly comfortable each with lovely personal touches. Ian and Julia are the warmest and most welcoming hosts you could ask for, so helpful about the local area... and the breakfasts are out of this world! We will definitely be returning soon.

At the end of a grand European tour, my brother and I spent 3 nights at Casa del Roseto, gathering ourselves for the long journey home. We couldn’t have found a better setting, or better company, for our reverie. Casa del Roseto is a wonderful light, airy building nested amongst vineyards, and with its own lush garden. A great place to get away from the hussle and bustle of modern life. The hosts have put in a lot of hard work into making Case del Roseto easy for their guests. And like any natural development, they make it look easy. The rooms are comfortable, well-equipped and tastefully appointed. Breakfast is a feast of local and home-made fayre. Julia and Ian are knowledgeable about the local area, and reliable guides to how to get the best from your stay. Days seem to have a rhythm of their own. The Asti area is a delight. Old towns and villages on every hill seem to compete with each other for historical interest, the best wines and produce, fine restaurants, attractive art and entertainment, and the best panoramic views. Belveglio is also a great base if you want to explore the wider Piedmont region. Strongly recommended if you are looking for elegance, relaxation and a quiet, well-informed way into another, older universe.

Where did I want to go for my 50th birthday I was asked, where else came the reply, Italy! But this is ‘real Italy’ where the Italians want to be, at their finest, with their families with the very best food and wine. We stayed at Casa Del Roseto with Ian, Julia and Lucy (their beautiful puppy dog) for a week in April and quite frankly could not have wished for a more perfect stay. They were the epitome of perfect hosts, so proud of their beautiful home and garden, eager to share it with us. The setting of the house is so tranquil however easily accessible from the main road. The room that we had was off the scale fantastic with our own balcony, the bathroom was amazing, all tastefully and sympathetically restored to its former beauty with well chosen antiques making us feel quite honoured to be there!! The garden is Julia’s sanctuary and it’s not hard to see why, awash with colour with a mixture of fruit, flowers and vegetables. Both Ian and Julia are bursting with ideas of where to visit, almost like having our own tourist information board downstairs! We cannot wait to return, in September infact and can wholeheartedly recommend this stunning place to anyone in search of real Italy 😊xx

We have recently come back home after having a fantastic break in Italy staying at Casa del Roseta! Our hosts Julia and Ian were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble for them! The restoration work they have done has been to an excellent quality and standard and is evident everywhere. The suite room we stayed in had its own fireplace with cosy chairs, comfy bed and a fair size en suite, the sun terrace was perfect for taking in the evening sun with a glass of the local wine, which my husband was very partial too! From the road the building is bright white with baby blue shutters with the vineyards behind them and Julia's garden and lawns in front just look picture postcard perfect! The breakfasts were made from fresh local produce and there was plenty, with homemade bread and cakes we were spoilt for choice! The pizzeria in the local village was superb! There are plenty of places to visit and if your not sure Julia and Ian are always there to give you advice and suggestions, we went to Asti when the fruit and veg market was on and took a trip to Aqua Terme which is Roman spa town with its hot fountains and fantastic restaurants or you could visit the Nizza Market where the umbrellas hang in the streets, there are loads of things to do near and far! We both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we feel we have made two new friends with Julia and Ian and not forgetting Lucy the dog and will be returning there again soon hopefully!

We had a lovely few days staying with Julia, Ian and Lucy in their gorgeous house. The care and attention to detail that they have put into the restoration work on their property is evident everywhere! We stayed in their largest room which has a very cosy wood- burning stove in a lovely seating area. There is coffee and tea making facilities in the room and some snacks provided too! A few steps up from the room is the spacious bathroom which has views of the lovely sunrises as it faces that direction. Just off from there is a private terrace, which, even on the hottest of summer days, would offer a lovely cool place to sit, to enjoy the scenery and relax in the peace and quiet. Right behind the house are Barbera vineyards and in the immediate area many cantine where it can be bought. There are many great trips to be made not far from the house. Julia and Ian are the perfect hosts and are always ready to help your stay be as comfortable and enjoyable as possible- no wish was too much! Their delicious and generous breakfasts were a great start to the day. It is a central location, with beautiful accommodation and my husband and I can’t recommend la casa del Rossetto highly enough! We’ll be back!
