ASTRA B&B

We had a wonderful family vacation at Astra B&B in Milazzo! The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable – perfect for a family stay. We had the best view from balcony over the sea, castle, Etna. The swimming pool was warm, clean and quiet. Breakfast was fresh and varied, with delicious local pastries, and great coffee. Carmen and all the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to help and make us feel at home. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming – we truly felt like guests, not just tourists. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and authentic stay in Sicily!

Shame they don't have a menu, so we couldn't see what they offered. However, the food was lovely.

The views from the property were amazing and the location was lovely and peaceful. (Directions etc. were perfect, even when arriving in the dark). The setting between the olive trees was relaxing and we enjoyed a quiet afternoon around the pool alone. Self check in was easy and instructions for this were sent in good time. Nicely located just outside of Milazzo and close to the Cap.

Furnishing of the room (specifically lighting, was a little sparse - bedside lamps would have been nice). Breakfast was also a little basic but served a purpose. Whilst self check in was welcome and easy, it did lose a little of the “personal touch”, only contact we had was with the person responsible for breakfast - it would have been nice to have had some local “tips” like recommendations on where to eat, park and ideas on island trips.

Location! Challenging to find.

Staff were really helpful and kind. The pool was so warm and the gardens were meticulously well kept and very pretty.

Nothing. We chose not to hire a car so accepted the 25 mins walk to the beach and nearest cafes etc. It's very peaceful and quiet if you have younger children a car would be easier.

Nice view over the sea and mountains with a swimming pool.

If you don't have a car, the location is not easy to access on foot, the public transportation is not regular.

As we were the only guests the first night and the host wasnt there it would have been helpful to have had communication about entry a couple of days before rather than having to call when we arrived. Also, parking in Milazzo!
