We stayed at B&B Orchidea in Palermo for one night (3–4 May) as a family of four (my wife, two kids, and myself). The room was clean and comfortable. Note that it is a single-room setup with one bathroom, so privacy may be limited if you're sharing with others. The owner was very helpful after the booking, providing clear instructions about the room, key code, and directions. He was quick to respond to all our questions and showed genuine hospitality. The B&B is located in a safe area, within walking distance (15–20 minutes) of many important historical sites in the city center. Parking can be a challenge. I was lucky to find a free spot nearby, but generally, you need to pay €1 per hour until 20:00. Breakfast was satisfying, and we appreciated that the owner asked us the evening before about our preferences for croissants, offering several options. A nice personal touch. Overall, a good value for a short stay in Palermo with friendly service and a great location.

We stayed in Room 4, where the Wi-Fi signal was unfortunately very weak. Also, it would be more convenient if the shower had a wall-mounted holder for the shower head.

Friendly host made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived and personal goodbye as we left. A real family feel to the stay. Comfy bed in a large room and lovely breakfast. Thank you

We stayed only one night as a transfer. The room was comfortable, just one window to the inner shaft, bathroom was across the hall.

Great staff, location and clean

The room had its private bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner worked well and it was possible to close completely the blinders. The personnel was very kind and Lori would ask what delicacy to buy for the next morning breakfast.

It’s a bit old especially the bathroom. It could be a noisy because there are pubs in the neighborhood.

The owner was so lovely and helpful. We landed very late and he waited for us to arrive to let us in. He was so kind. I would recommend accepting the offer of hotel transport for 45 euro as it’s cheaper then a taxi and taxis are hard to get in Palermo. Perfect accom if you are just in between places in Sicily. We landed late, slept and got the train the next morning and it was perfect for this. Wifi isn’t great but that didn’t bother us too much but that might be tricky for some people.
