One of the rare B&B with organic food in Catania, including vegan options. Mr. Sergio was caring and helpful for adapting to our a bit special needs about check-in and arranging taxi service for us. Thank you!

The place was ideal for us - close to the city center but at the same time quiet so we slept well :-) It was very clean. The kitchen was spacious. It was nice sitting there with friends. Fresh orange juice was just delicious! 🍊🙂 Sergio - the host was very friendly and helpfull. It was easy to communicate with him during the stay. He answered all our questions, recommended interesting trip to Etna and places where we ate good food.

We really enjoyed our stay at the B&B. The communication with Sergio was good, friendly and quick reply. Located just around the corner of the centre, this was a very nice place for a city trip. Would recommend this to other people as well.

The location was decent, maybe around 15-20 minutes to walk to the centre to the bars and restaurants. It was easy to navigate with google. I would say the surrounding area of which the B&B is at appears a bit dirty and rough but is totally fine.

The host could have been much better in his management and understanding of his guests. I was very disappointed in the way he managed his guests and has zero consideration. For start, he asked when we were checking in I gave an approx time of 1:30-2pm. Just as we got off the bus at Catania, he said he won't be there to check us in, so we had to get the keys from the coffee place that wasn't a bar. The man did not speak any english and did not understand me at all, so didn't want to give me the keys till I presented the whatsapp photo of the owner who was contacting me and further said something I didn't understand. Thats fine I understand people can be busy, with a couple hiccups we enter the apartment, after a hot day i had to again message for some bottle of water that would have been nice to welcome your guests at 32 degrees heat and travel. The welcome was very weak. We had to send our passport identification via whatsapp which felt a bit off, as we rather keep it more professional for our privacy. It didn't feel so safe this method. On our last night, he insisted we pay the amount at 9:30pm and during our night out trying to enjoy the city so was quite a disruptive, still a good 12 hours till we are to be checked out. and that we pay the tourist tax via cash and there was no other way. This was very odd, as he said he couldn't do it with the sending a transfer link for the tourist tax? but can for the amount of the hotel stay. If you wanted cash, then do it in person, as we had no change from a €10/20 note. In my experience in travelling, I never had the establishment ask me during a holiday stay pay in the late evening when you are trying to have dinner or enjoy the city. Either ask it upfront or at the end. He wasn't able to present to check us out.
