The comfy bed and the location

The smell of the bathroom and the fact we stayed for 5 nights and they did not provide a soap for washing hands 😳

Charming place in a historic center, nice location.

It was almost impossible to find parking around the historic center. Breakfast was a ticket to the nearest bar which was crowded. After 15 min waiting we got table outside, but if we wanted to eat inside we would have waited an hour. Breakfast consists of 1 coffee/tea, 1 pastry and 1 juice. Few things were missing in the room, like glasses, handsoap, toilet paper holder, no light in the shower. Host never showed up, though she sent very detailed instructions for check in etc. stairs to the upper floor was a challenge, especially with luggage.

The terrace was separate from the room, which wasn't clear. It was also quite dusty. We also had an issue in that our breakfast tokens were not left in the room. When I messaged the host about this, it was not rectified, so we were not able to claim our breakfasts. It was a shame as it was otherwise lovely.

Location was perfect, breakfast was very good and we could check in earlier than expected. Good and friendly communication with the host.

However, the whole experience was ruined on the first night when we got back to find more than 10 small cockroaches (and even a centipede!) in our room, running between our stuff. The place was infested and we could barely sleep. Accomodation's response was checking and placing some traps the next day, but again more and more cockcroaches kept coming during the next night (we counted more than 20 in total), so again we couldn't really sleep. When looking for more bugs, we also noticed hygiene wasn't the best (there was even an old teddy bear under the bed, so who knows how long they hadn't cleaned there). The host apologized and offered to keep our luggage after checking out. Then, after complaining, they refunded 25 euros per night, which was insulting since we paid 340 euros for two nights and it was the worst experience we had with any accomodation EVER. A shame because apart from this, the room was exactly as expected, but cockroaches and the host's poor response ruined everything. It was really disgusting.
